Passionate about promoting Latvia abroad for 20 years in various roles. Experienced head of foreign office. Being a Latvian diplomat, I match Latvian companies and organizations investing in innovation with EU funded programmes in Brussels. Until April 2021 I advised Latvian and Dutch business in the Netherlands. Fields of activity included fostering export, attracting investment and introducing Latvian technology solutions as well as promoting Latvia as a tourism destination.

Being socially active, I realize practical projects to link Latvian talent abroad with Latvian economy. I worked for the European Climate Foundation the European Cultural Foundation and other Non governmental organisations. I was opening new markets for a young and fostering Dutch web communications company, Dijksman.com until February 2010.

Prior to that I was setting up an office and international relationships for Riga City in Brussels. I have an extensive knowledge in European policy making and EU financial instruments especially in areas of regional policy and Competitiveness.

I have obtained a degree in business management and economics with marketing specialization at the University of Latvia.
